Introduction and Background:

We are a blockchain DeFi project developing a decentralized currency system on the Internet Computer using the Motoko programming language. Ensuring the security of our protocol is critical due to the unique challenges of asynchronous execution and inter-canister communication inherent in the Internet Computer environment. We are looking for a Master's student in Computer Science or Cybersecurity to conduct a comprehensive security analysis of our protocol.

What You’ll Work On:

- Security Review: Perform a thorough security analysis of our protocol implemented in Motoko.
- Vulnerability Assessment: Identify potential security vulnerabilities related to asynchronous execution, inter-canister communication, and oracle integration.
- Threat Modeling: Develop threat models to understand potential attack vectors and their impact.
- Mitigation Strategies: Propose security enhancements and best practices to mitigate identified risks.
- Collaborative Effort: Work closely with our development team and coordinate with external security auditors to ensure comprehensive coverage.

You’ll Be a Great Fit If You:

- Have a strong background in computer science or cybersecurity.
- Are proficient in the Motoko programming language and familiar with the Internet Computer architecture.
- Understand asynchronous programming models and their security implications.
- Have experience with security analysis, vulnerability assessment tools, and blockchain security.
- Are detail-oriented with excellent documentation and communication skills.
