MSc. internship and thesis assignment at Boskalis research and development

Are you a 2nd year MSc. student
• with a background in theoretical or applied mathematics, physics or computer science?
• with a passion or desire to improve in one of the following research areas: data analysis and artificial intelligence, modelling and simulation, robotics and sensing?
• with a broad interest in data, technology and research

and are you enthusiastic to study and develop knowledge on subjects such as:
• robotics simulations to better monitor turbidity plumes or biodiversity restoration efforts
• model order reduction and surrogate modelling to speed up vessel motion calculations
• multi-agent reinforcement learning in logistic simulations
• combining computer vision and machine learning to determine the wear rate of assets
• derive material properties from computed tomography scans of different sands
• underwater noise propagation modelling and data analysis
• …?
